Admissions

Admission Procedure


Admissions to total seats are done thru online off campus counseling conducted by StateGovernmentUniversity. Candidate needs to register on University website to participate in the counseling. Once the counseling is open, candidate should lock his choice to “Ramanujan College of Education” under college preference category. After completion of counseling, College seat will be allotted to candidates based on merit list. Admissions are made on the basis of marks obtained in the qualifying examination.

 

The College is affiliated to Maharishi Dayanand university, Rohtak. The admission is granted in accordance with the rules and procedures laid down by the M.D. University.


  1. The B.Ed course is regular one year course.
  2. The College has one hundred seats and having co-education.
  3. Eligibility: 
    1. The candidates with at least 50% marks either in the Bachelor’s Degree and/or in the Master’s Degree or any other qualification declared equivalent there to are eligible for admission to the Programme. Any candidate with 49.9 or less marks is not eligible.
    2. The reservation for SC/ST/OBC and other categories shall be as per the rules of the Central Government/ State government, which ever is applicable .There, shall be relaxation of 5% marks in favor of SC/ST/OBC and other categories of candidates. Candidates with 44.9% marks or less are not eligible. The other states SC/ST/OBC will count in general category
  4. Submission of documents: Important information regarding documents to be given to the College at the time of admission.College Timings: Students are required to be regular & punctual in the College from 8:30 am. to 3:30 p.m. A candidate must report to the College within stipulated time. The candidature of a candidate who fails to report to the College shall be cancelled.
    • Detail Marks card of all Examinations 10th standard onwards.
    • Character certificate from the last institute attended.
    • Reservation category certificate.
    • In case of OBC candidates an income certificate is also mandatory.
    • Medical certificate
    • Mark sheet of Graduation
    • Residence certificate in case of non-residence of Haryana.
  5. Medium of instruction: Hindi/English
  6. Attendance: Each student is required to attend minimum 75% of lectures delivered in the College. The student shall have to attend classes notified by the College even on Sunday & holiday.
  7. Examination: The College shall conduct internal Examination. The date sheet will be notified ten days before the conduct of examination. It is compulsory for the student to appear in the internal examination.
  8. College Timings: Students are required to be regular & punctual in the College from 8:30 am. to 3:30 p.m. A candidate must report to the College within stipulated time. The candidature of a candidate who fails to report to the College shall be cancelled.
