MANAGEMENT GAMES

Broken square and Tower building are the management games which enhance the team work, coordination, creativity, cooperation and leadership qualities among the players. As a part of PDP program the games were played by MBA students on 24.08.2016. In broken square, each team had to make 5 squares of equal sizes without any kind of communication. And in tower building activity, the students were divided in 7 teams and each group had 3 members in which all the three members have to play a role ie. Manager, assistant manager, subordinate and they have to make the tower from the wooden blocks which has provided by faculty. The game was initiated by Ms. Puja Sharma by providing all information regarding rules and regulation of game to the students. All team were observed by faculty of management studies Ms. Gujan Chawla, Ms. Kanchan Parashar, Ms. Heena Pruthi . The student’s performance was evaluated on some factors. ie. Leadership, team effort, level of frustration, anxiety, group problem solving and violation of rules. Among all the team – in broken square activity – Team A won who made 5 square in 4 minutes( yogesh and his team members) and in tower building activity- Team C won who made the tower in 3 minutes 45 seconds (Rajesh and team members).
