Presentation on Union Budget 2017
The department of management studies organised a presentation on “Union budget of India” on 31st January 2017 with MBA students which was delivered by Faculty Ms Kanchan Parashar,. It was the first of a series of events aimed at to impart knowledge to the student about the allocation, management of government funds and their impact on different sectors with reference to whole economy. Subsequently on next Day i.e. 01st February 2017, finance minister Sh. Arun Jaitley presented the full-year Budget of Prime Minister Narendra Modi's government which was shown to the students live through electronic media in the class. All the highlights of budget 2017 were being noted by the students. On 02nd February 2017, a class on open discussion was arranged so that students could clarify any queries regarding the budget presented by finance minister on 01st February 2017. Many students asked the series of questions such as:
1) Is this budget good or bad?
2) Which sectors gain most?
3) Does it make easy to invest in India?
4) Does it make consumer products costlier or cheaper?
The concerned faculty members clarified their queries which are mentioned above.
